This aviation-related calendar "Dawn of a New Age" shows a four-engine aircraft cruising above Manhattan as the sun breaks through the morning clouds to the east. The 'dawn' could be considered to be the end of the Great Depression which started with the stock market crash in October, 1929 and ended in the late 1930's.
